What are your fees? Session fees are $170 per 50-minute session. Longer sessions may be requested. Payment is due at the time of the session and can be made by credit card or e- transfer. (credit card processing fees apply)

Do you accept insurance? While I do accept some insurance, I cannot direct bill. It is important to contact your insurance provider and ensure they cover fees for Registered Counselling Therapists before booking an appointment

Can therapy help me? Many people find therapy helpful when they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or want to better understand themselves and their relationships. Therapy provides a confidential, supportive space to explore your experiences, gain insight, and learn coping strategies. While every person’s journey is different, most clients notice positive changes as they become more self-aware and intentional in their lives.

What will sessions look like? Sessions typically last 50 minutes and are focused on your goals. In our first few meetings, we’ll discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, your background, and what you’d like to achieve. From there, sessions may involve exploring emotions and patterns, learning new tools for managing stress, or processing experiences in a safe environment. The tone can range from reflective to practical, depending on your needs.

How long will I need to be in therapy? The length of therapy varies for everyone. Some clients find a few months of therapy helpful for addressing specific concerns, while others choose to continue for a year or more for deeper personal growth. We’ll discuss your goals together and revisit them periodically to ensure therapy continues to meet your needs.

How often will we meet? Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and consistency. As you make progress, we may decide to meet biweekly or as needed. Frequency can be adjusted based on your goals, schedule, and budget

How do I prepare for my first session? it is helpfull to go through any documentation I send to you and sign it as this saves precious session time. You’re welcome to jot down thoughts or questions ahead of time. The first session is mainly a chance for us to get to know each other and decide if we’re a good fit.
